The Brendon Hills are one of Somersets many naturally beautiful features. A high ridge broken by a series of deeply cut streams and rivers making their way southwards to meet the River Haddeo, a tributary of the River Exe.
The Brendon Hills merge into the eastern side of Exmoor, and are included within the Exmoor National Park. The highest point on the hills is Lype Hill at 1,388 feet above sea level the range meets Exmoor.
