Dunster is within easy reach of Hartnells. It is an ancient village with a yarn market, working mill, museum, National Trust castle and gardens. Spend the day here and finish with a cream tea in one of its quaint tea rooms!
Especially popular is the Dunster by candlelight festival which takes place every year on the first Friday and Saturday in December when this remarkably preserved medieval village turns its back on the present and lights its streets with candles.
