The West Somerset Coastal Path starts at Minehead, passes through the Quantock Hills area of outstanding natural beauty to the River Parrett. From here it joins the South West Coast Path National Trail. You are also able to access the Colridge Way & Quantock Hills Greenway south of West Quantoxhead from it. This whole area displays wonderful views across the sea as well as inland. The coast along here is designated an area of special scientific interest. The rock strata is fascinating and fossils are exciting to discover, as you follow the ammonite posts and way markers to find your way.
